M&A Transactions

Customer Value Partners, Inc. has acquired Atlas Research, LLC, a provider of strategic consulting and health services research and analysis to federal government, commercial, higher education, and non-profit markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. KippsDeSanto & Co. acted as financial advisor to Atlas Research, LLC.

Arlington Capital Partners has agreed to acquire MCR, LLC, a portfolio company of Harrison Street Capital, LLC and a provider of cost analysis and engineering and software development of defense, intelligence, and civilian government agencies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

ATL Partners has acquired GEOST, Inc., a provider of services in active and passive optical remote sensing, offering expertise in all phases of project development for electro-optics and sensors. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has agreed to acquire Defined Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of Micro Technologies, LLC and a provider of IT and telecommunications solutions and services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Fincantieri – Cantieri Navali Italiani S.p.A. is in talks to acquire Oto Melara S.p.A., a subsidiary of Leonardo S.p.A. (BIT: LDO) and a provider of small and medium caliber naval guns. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

InVeris Training Solutions, Inc., a portfolio company of Pine Island Capital Partners, has acquired SURVIVR PBC, a provider of virtual reality-based augmented law enforcement and defense training simulations. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

NextGen Acquisition Corp. II (NasdaqCM: NGCA), a special purpose acquisition company, entered into a definitive agreement with Virgin Orbit, LLC, a provider of proprietary air-launch liquid-fueled rocket technology used to place satellites into orbit. The transaction is valued at $3.2 billion.

Two Six Technologies, LLC, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG), has acquired Trusted Concepts, Inc., a provider of high-end technology services to federal and commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

VTG, a portfolio company of The Jordan Company, L.P., has acquired ASSETT, Inc., a provider of undersea warfare and unmanned systems technologies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
