M&A Transactions

Avantus Federal, a NewSpring Capital portfolio company, has acquired Occam’s Razor Technologies, LLC., a provider of technologies, cyber tools, and integrated software solutions to private intelligence and defense communities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. KippsDeSanto acted as exclusive financial advisor to Occam Razor Technologies, LLC.
ECS Federal, LLC, a segment of ASGN Inc., (NYSE: ASGN) has acquired IndraSoft, Inc., a provider of cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions to the federal government. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Hartzell Propeller, Inc., a portfolio company of private equity firm Tailwind Technologies, Inc., has acquired the assets of Tanis Aircraft Products, a provider of engine preheat systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
H.I.G. Private Equity has agreed to acquire Oxford Global Resources, LLC, a subsidiary of ASGN, Inc., (NYSE: ASGN) a provider of on-demand high-end consulting talent for information technology (“IT”), engineering, healthcare, and life sciences clients. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  
 
LUMIBIRD S.A. has agreed to acquire Orano S.A.’s 37% stake in Cie. Industrielle des Lasers (“CILAS”), a provider of laser and optics technology. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 
Platinum Equity Holdings (“PEH”), a private equity firm has agreed to acquire Unical Aviation, Inc. and certain of the company’s affiliates from affiliates of the company’s founders, a provider of aircraft parts and components to the global commercial aerospace market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 
Shield AI, Inc. has acquired Heron Systems, Inc., a provider of cutting-edge AI to build technological supremacy that solves modern war-fighting problems. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 
SINTX Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SINT) has agreed to acquire privately held B4C, LLC., a provider of Boron Carbide, a ceramic material used in the manufacture of protective body armor plates. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 
The Hatcher Group, a full-service communications and marketing firm, acquired the Horne Creative Group, a digital marketing firm that has worked with various federal agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Services and Social Security Administration. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tracker Capital Management, LLC, an early-stage investment firm, has made an investment in Accion Systems, Inc., a provider of advanced ion electrospray in-space propulsion systems. The transaction is valued at $42 million.
