M&A Transactions

Broadcom, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire VMware, Inc, a provider of virtual infrastructure software for industry-standard systems in private sector and U.S. federal government defense and environmental markets. The transaction is valued at $61 billion.

 DBHCAP LLC and Tides Capital, LLC have acquired Salvo Technologies, Inc., a provider of photonics products. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 ERC, Inc., a portfolio company of Brightstar Capital Partners, has completed its acquisition of Oasis Systems, LLC, a portfolio company of the GF Fund, and provider of advisory and assistance services including enterprise system management, environmental services, information assurance, and system management to the DoD. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 Extant Aerospace, a subsidiary of TransDigm Group, Inc. (NYSE: TDG), has acquired all the assets and license of the technical data rights pertaining to the Electromechanical Indicator product line from Astronautics Corporation of America, a provider of electromechanical indicators including Attitude Direction Indicator (“ADI”), Horizontal Situational Indicator (“HIS”), and Bearing Distance Heading Indicator (“BDHI”). The transaction is valued at $27.0 million.

Joby Aero, Inc. has acquired Avionyx, Inc., a provider of full life-cycle avionics software and hardware engineering services for a wide variety of aircraft in the private sector and U.S. federal government aerospace and defense markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 Kaman Corp. (NYSE:KAMN) has agreed to acquire the aircraft wheel & brake division of Parker Hannifin Corp. (NYSE: PH), a provider of aircraft wheel and brake systems and related hydraulic products for the general aviation, business aviation, rotorcraft, and military aircraft markets. The transaction is valued at $440.0 million.

 Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NasdaqGS: KTOS) has acquired the Engineering Division of Southern Research Institute, a provider of advanced materials for extreme environments, including hypersonic, space, missile, missile defense, strategic deterrence, propulsion systems, and energy applications. The transaction is valued at $80.0 million.

 Reunert, Ltd. (JSE: RLO.JO) has agreed to acquire Etion Create, a subsidiary of Etion Ltd. and provider of electronic and digital products for private sector and international government aerospace and defense markets. The transaction is valued at $13.2 million.

 Parsons Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Xator Corp., a provider of mission focused solutions addressing critical infrastructure protection, national security, and mission training requirements for the U.S. Governments around the world. The transaction is valued at $400 million.
